Drive me home
Lifelong friends Antonio and Agostino grew up together in a small Sicilian village nestled in the mountains, dreaming of a different life, somewhere else. Now in their thirties, both live abroad but haven’t seen or spoken to each other in years.
When Antonio discovers that his long-abandoned childhood home is about to be auctioned off, he sets out to find Agostino, his childhood friend, hoping to involve him in saving the house that holds so much meaning for them both. However, their lives have changed profoundly.
Old conflicts and new revelations accompany them on a journey across Europe in the cab of a truck, as they rediscover memories, secrets, and their dreams. This is an intimate and universal story of friendship, following two "thirtysomethings" who, after years of wandering, decide to confront the past they once fled, returning to their roots and toward an unexpected destination.
