Synopsis

Best friends, Antonio and Agostino grow up together in a small Sicilian village nestled in the mountains, dreaming of a different life elsewhere.
Now in their thirties, both live abroad, but they haven't seen or heard from each other for years. When Antonio discovers that his birthplace, abandoned for years, is about to be sold at auction, he decides to leave to meet his childhood friend with the intention of involving him so as not to have that house taken away to which Agostino is also very close. However, their lives have changed profoundly. Old conflicts and new revelations accompany them on a journey across Europe towards an unexpected end.
A generational story in search of a place that can be called home, wherever it is.
